summer's ending

Back in singapore when i see people jogging with pullovers, i'll seriously laugh my ass off at them. It's already like a furnace back home in singapore already and whatnot making yourself baked with the pullovers when jogging. However i take back what i said now. Having the itch all over my body to train i couldn't help but wake up in the morning and go out for a run in singlet and shorts. When i came out of the bathroom irene's mom insisted that i wore a pullover when i run. I felt stupid because i wasn't looking outside the box, how foolish can i be thinking that it's like singapore. Man. I stepped out of the house and almost froze even with the pullover, i ran several times round a park and the cold seriously bites. Awww. i was gasping for air and that's when i realised that the air was freezing cold. I can't imagine what it'll be like without the pullovers.

Although the scenery here is really beautiful, i really appreciate the smallness of singapore, it's convenient to get around but down here, it's really troublesome, the skytrain is fast but the distance between towns are really far apart. Went to chinatown few days ago and it's really like a slump area. Many drug addicts but many other nice things as well. The society here is somewhat better in general than singapore but the bad society here is a lot worse than that of singapore. So,i guess singapore is still the safest.

This is the mountain i saw when i was on the seabus to north vancouver. i think it'll be really cool when it's winter time.

This is gas town's trademark. The steam clock, runs totally on steam.

The huge statue,i forgot it's name,i just know it's making both of us look tiny.

The triceretops, that wouldn't bite.

Vancouver

I'm sorry to update only now. it's been really busy for me. from the exams and finally settling down here in vancouver. i've to admit that it's actually a blessing to have changi airport after i've seen japan's airport. helluva difference. I'd be a little patriotic for once and say that singapore really has the best airport. It's a pretty good experience to fly on your own, and damn i am so sick of the movies on japan airlines, been watching it for more than 10 hours, i've no choice but to ask the air stewardess for some wine to make me sleep. When i was transitting in japan, my phone couldn't get any signal at all. man.. and i was seriously scared that irene will not know where i'll be waiting for her at vancouver airport. But thank god, the signal's back when i landed in vancouver and thus here i am typing this entry. The weather here is fantastic. But just that the food sold here is pretty pinchy on your wallet. So kenneth told me, "for you yourself, stay at home for meals or learn to cook!".

The best part of this trip is of course, seeing her and spending quality time with her. Although it's only 26 days, at least it's better than that of 1 year whereby there's no quality time at all. had a wonderful night at ern's place with him and jc the night before my departure. great stay over session man. i'll bring booze next time and we'll do away with the cadbury boost.
